Refund and cancellation terms for AlphaVue subscriptions.

Free Access and Trial Use
Where AlphaVue offers a free plan, trial period, or promotional access, users are encouraged to evaluate the service before purchasing a paid subscription.
It is your responsibility to review the plan details, billing timing, and renewal terms before upgrading to a paid plan.
General Refund Approach
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
Because AlphaVue is a digital service that grants access to paid features and analysis quotas immediately after purchase, refunds are typically reviewed only in limited situations such as duplicate charges, billing errors, or other exceptional cases approved by us.
AlphaVue reserves the right to approve or deny any refund request at its sole discretion. For subscriptions purchased during promotional or discounted periods, any approved refund will be based on the actual amount paid, not the standard price.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. During the remainder of that period, you will continue to have access to all paid features and allocated analysis quotas. After the period ends, your account will be automatically downgraded to the free plan.
Upon cancellation, research data, analysis history, and personal settings associated with your account will be retained for a reasonable period in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you resubscribe within the retention period, your previous data will be restored. After the retention period, we may delete the associated data.
Pro-Rata Refunds for Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription plans, if you cancel mid-year, AlphaVue may (but is not obligated to) approve a pro-rata refund at its sole discretion. Such refunds do not establish a precedent or constitute a commitment for future cases.
If a pro-rata refund is approved, the refund amount will be calculated as follows: the annual subscription fee divided by twelve months to derive the monthly rate, multiplied by the number of remaining full unused months, minus the discount differential between the annual and monthly plan rates (i.e., discount clawback).
Pro-rata refunds do not apply to monthly subscription plans. Once a monthly billing period has started, the fee for that period is generally non-refundable.
Refund Requests
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or have a refund request that should be reviewed, contact AlphaVue at [email protected] and include the account email, charge date, amount, and a detailed explanation of the reason for your request.
Refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the relevant charge. Requests submitted after this window may not be accepted, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We review requests case by case and may ask for additional information needed to investigate the payment. The review process is typically completed within five (5) to ten (10) business days after receiving complete information.
Refund Review Criteria
When reviewing refund requests, AlphaVue considers the following circumstances: duplicate charges or billing errors caused by technical issues; extended platform unavailability (more than 72 consecutive hours) that prevented the user from accessing paid services; and refunds required by applicable consumer protection laws.
We also consider the following factors: the user's account usage history and activity level, whether the refund request was submitted within a reasonable time window, whether the user has previously received refunds or credits, and whether the charge in question is genuinely disputed.
All refund decisions are made by AlphaVue based on a comprehensive assessment of the above criteria and the specific circumstances of each case, and are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
The following circumstances generally do not qualify for a refund: requests based on a change of mind or no longer needing the service; failure to use or fully utilize service features during the billing period; and accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
Additionally, the following are non-refundable: remaining days in a partially used monthly billing period; poor user experience caused by the user's own network environment, device compatibility, or third-party service issues; and features that the user had already experienced through the free plan or trial period before subscribing.

Processing and Timing
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction (e.g., credit card, debit card, or other payment method). AlphaVue cannot issue refunds to an account or payment channel different from the original payment method.
Refund processing times depend on your payment provider and financial institution, and typically take five (5) to fifteen (15) business days to appear after the refund is approved. In some cases, it may take longer for the refund to be reflected on your statement or account.
If you have not received your refund more than fifteen business days after approval, please first contact your payment provider or bank to confirm the processing status, then reach out to us at [email protected] for further assistance.
Disputes and Appeals
If you dispute a charge amount, please first contact our customer support team at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter with you before you initiate a formal dispute (chargeback) with your payment provider.
Initiating a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting AlphaVue customer support may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved. We recommend seeking resolution through our internal channels first.
If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision, you may submit a written appeal to [email protected] explaining the reasons you believe the case should be reconsidered and any supporting evidence. We will respond to appeals within ten (10) business days of receipt.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by revising the effective date on this page.
